Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud solution and soon to be implemented Marketing Cloud solution.
  • Design and develop new Salesforce functions within existing solutions in collaboration with the Salesforce delivery team to ensure quality outcomes in existing and new solutions.
  • Enhance and evolve Salesforce solution(s) using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Ensure that the customization and configuration of Salesforce meet business requirements, including workflows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Code reviews to ensure code quality and adhere to best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs and web services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (Deploying code using Azure DevOps), from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.


  Key Requirements
  • Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II).
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in Salesforce platform, particularly in Sales Cloud.
  • Proven experience of Apex, Triggers, Classes and Lightning Web Components, API Web Services and Salesforce declarative programming techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
 

Highly Desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce design, development and implementation with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.
  • Prior experience working with ACT Government Salesforce ecosystem / environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft), and ETL tools.
  • DevOps experience, including use of Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Experience in the S-Docs AppExchange App
  • Ability to work in an Agile Hybrid environment.
  • Salesforce certifications will be highly regarded.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
